BGMI ban: Google Play Store and Apple App Store removed a popular battle royale title, Battlegrounds Mobile India after receiving a take-down order from the Government of India. This ban created shockwaves among the community. Since then, only one question is blowing the fans’ minds. Is BGMI banned permanently or temporarily? A glimmer of hope is still there as gamers can still enjoy the game now. Here is how gamers can play the Battle Royale game. For future updates on Battlegrounds Mobile India, follow InsideSport.IN
Best ways to play Battle Royale after the ban
The Battle Royale title disappeared from both Play Store and App store in the late hours of 28 July. However, the game itself continues to be playable and we can confirm that there is no server-side ban implemented as of writing this story. This suggests that if you already have BGMI installed on your devices, it will continue to function without any issues for now.
However, if gamers accidentally or intentionally uninstall it, there would be no official way of installing the game again. Furthermore, the APK link for the game on the official BGMI website has also been taken down. Meanwhile, an APK file will be easily available on third-party websites, this approach is not advisable as third-party sites can tamper with APK files.
Meanwhile, players can still extract the BGMI APK file from a device that has the game installed by using apps like APK Extractor. Now, the files can then be easily shared with other devices. One of the popular players in the country, Ghatak has responded to this thing. Here is what he has to say.
Btw this is not permanent ban
hope for the best 🤞🏻

The stance of Google and Krafton on the BGMI ban so far
GOI blocked the BGMI, mostly known as Battlegrounds Mobile India without releasing any public statement. Meanwhile, Google has already released a statement clarifying the exact reason behind its removal. ” On receipt of the order, following established process, we have notified the affected developer and have blocked access to the app that remained available on the Play Store in India. ”
On the other hand, a Krafton spokesperson stated that the developers would continue talking and also meeting with relevant authorities and companies to figure out the exact situation of the removal in the two major app stores. Krafton believes that BGMI complies with all the required guidelines in India.
There are also a few alternatives that have emerged since the title’s ban. Gamers can try out Apex Legends, Free Fire Max, Call of Duty, and many more to experience close to similar vibes. For future updates on Battlegrounds Mobile India, follow InsideSport.IN
