The forecast across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for Baku will see F1 under radiant skies. The excessive temperate will cause troubles for the drivers, but at the same, it can make the race more exciting with tye wear likely to be an issue.

Last season, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen experienced a tyre puncture as he had to retire from the race in which he was leading. But his teammate Sergio Perez finished the race in the first place to win his second race overall and his first for Red Bull.

The Mexican is set to return to Baku on the back of his most recent triumph in Monaco to close the gap with Verstappen in the drivers’ standings to 15 places, with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in the middle of between the pair.

Friday – Solid daylight from dawn to dusk, with the two practice sessions at 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm Indian time set to lounge in temperatures of around 25 degrees Celsius, with a zero percent chance of a downpour. Saturday – One more fine bright day for final practice and qualifying. The Qualifying session is scheduled at 7:30 pm Indian time when the temperature will be 26 degrees Celsius. There is a negligible danger of downpour, evaluated at around 15% yet with humidity again in the low 30s. Wind speed tumbles to 11-12mph, prompting blasts in the low 20s.
