It was looking like Mick was running short on confidence while driving and it showed on the track also. He was not so comfortable at the turns and thus couldn’t make much of an impact. He was the first driver to sit out in the FP1 session due to water leakage.

Last but not the least, Nicholas Latifi finished last in the FP2 session as he also couldn’t make much of an impact. He was the second driver in the FP1 session who sat out because he lost the power of his car. Both Mick and Latifi are desperate for track time and good results under their belt as they have been taking a lot of heat from their respected teams.
