Ferrari has been looking a bit shaky after having reliability issues which caused Charles Leclerc to retire from the Spanish Grand Prix. He suffered a power unit issue that cost him his first DNF of the season. Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz dropped positions in Barcelona but claimed a well-deserved P5 finish.

Red Bull has kind of sorted their reliability issues and they look like the main contenders to win the Monaco GP. Max Verstappen won the last time F1 visited Monte Carlo and will be eyeing to clinch his fifth race win of the season.

On the other hand, Sergio Perez will look to again give a solid performance after a disappointment in Barcelona as he was eyeing his first win of the 2022 season. Perez was given a word by the Red Bull team that he would get back his P1 place from Verstappen but then things changed and the Mexican was not pleased with this decision.
Mercedes have really swung the momentum in their favor after getting upgrades to their W13 challenger in Spain. Moreover, they cured their Porpoising issues and looked like they were coming close to Ferrari and Red Bull in terms of race pace.
George Russell have been a shining light for the Silver Arrows this year. He has finished in the top five in all the six races so far. Lewis Hamilton also looked like he was nearing his best in Barcelona after an inspiring drive from P19 to clinch P5 and saw himself amongst the points.
Now six races in the top five! 😃
